TLCAD Dogs Take Part in "Weekend
with the Locals" at Warwick's in La Jolla
TLCAD staff, trainers and Service Dogs in training participated in the "Weekend
with the Locals" event on Sunday, January 13th at Warwick's in La Jolla. The event
promoted the upcoming event 'A Night of 2 Shorts', which will be held at The Museum
of Contemporary Art San Diego on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 7:00pm. The museum
will host the screenings of two locally produced, autism related short films, El
Abuelo and With Me. With Me is a short film that features a boy with autism and
his Service Dog, Mully. Mully is a Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dog, and helped
to promote the film at Warwick's. Patrons of Warwick's as well as members of the
La Jolla community were able to learn about Service Dogs, how they assist individuals
with autism, as well as enjoy a Service Dog parade down the streets of La Jolla.
