Message from our Chairman of the Board
“The Circle of Life”
Pacific, my trusty service dog, is ready to retire at 11 yrs old. In his own way, he tells me daily that he’d rather sleep in the yard under a shady tree than listen to the kids in my classroom where he’s worked for the past nine years.
Enter Ben—young, wiggly and anxious to work. He will soon be certified as my new service dog. I was nervous about bringing home a new dog to ‘replace’ Pacific; but he reminds me that the “Circle of Life” goes on, and now is his time in the sun.
Thank you, Pacific, for all your years of service.
Chris Timmins, Board Chair
