Tech Sgt. Jack Kushner Ret'd Foundation supports The Spirit, Home of TLCAD!

Jack Kushner

2013 has been an exciting year for TLCAD. We have finally set our mark in concrete and have our very own training center. The center is named The Spirit, Home of TLCAD. The name of our training center is attributable to the generous donation from the Tech Sgt. Jack Kushner Ret'd Foundation, whose mission is to help military men and women to fulfill various needs after military service.

The Spirit received its name from Tech Sgt. Jack Kushner Ret'd (US Army Air Corps) who flew the B-17F Flying Fortress in WWII, well known in the 384th as The Spirit. In retirement, he formed a foundation to help fellow veterans suffering from the wounds of combat, both visible and invisible, and encourage them to help their fellow veterans. Jack Kushner passed away on December 16, 2011. In January 2013, TLCAD received a grant from the Tech Sgt. Jack Kushner Ret'd Foundation, allowing them to open their first training center named The Spirit in honor of Tech Sgt. Jack Kushner Ret'd.

His impact will live on through the transformation of more lives of individuals and their families with the placement of a Service Dog.

TLCAD would like to give special thanks to these generous sponsors and donors:
